The following provides a brief overview of the components of our dynamic and comprehensive Music Enrichment Program:
Immanuel Primary students have the opportunity to learn a variety of instruments through our well-established and vibrant instrumental program delivered by twenty professional instrumental instructors.
Individual and group instrument tuition is available on flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, voice, violin, viola, cella, oboe, drums, bass guitar and guitar.
Parents wishing their child to take private instrumental lessons during the school day may contact the Head of Music by phoning the school office or by completing and returning the appropriate enrolment forms when issued with the newsletter at the end Term 4 and beginning of Term 1.
The following music groups may be included in our ensemble program depending on student talent/interest;
Students rehearse before school, during lunch breaks and after school.
These ensembles perform at a variety of school and community events.
The Junior Choir is for students in Year 3 who love to sing. The Senior Choir is for students who gain enjoyment by singing in a large group.
The Harmonettes Choir consists of approximately 8 members from the Senior Choir who have the talent and commitment to learn the challenging repertoire for this particular choir.
